ALASKA’s GOLD CREEK

FAT BEAR LODGE

FAT BEAR LODGE

Perched on the banks of the world-famous Naknek River, within the Bristol Bay watershed, Fat Bear Lodge operates seasonally June 15 - October 1. Located in King Salmon AK, the town is only accessible by air, which ensures a truly remote wilderness experience. The Naknek River and the surrounding area hosts prolific runs of five species of salmon and is a designated trophy rainbow trout area. With the fish comes incredible wildlife viewing opportunities. We not only cater to fishermen, but wildlife viewers and photography focused guests as well. You can experience world-class guided fishing, brown bear/wildlife viewing, back country side-by-side adventures, scenic flights, hiking, kayaking, beach combing, and explore Aniakchak National Monument and Katmai National park.

We are the premier adventure lodge in Alaska and are dedicated to providing unparalleled experiences that seamlessly incorporate luxury with the raw wilderness of Alaska. We customize journeys that blend luxury with exploration, offering our guests the opportunity to discover the extraordinary landscapes & wildlife of Alaska. With a commitment to sustainability and personalized service, we strive to deliver dreams of Alaskan adventure to each individual guest however adventure looks like to them.
