ABOUT FAT BEAR LODGE
FAT BEAR LODGE
Fat Bear Lodge sits on the banks of the world-famous Naknek River, in the pristine Bristol Bay watershed. Operating seasonally from June through October, our lodge is just outside the small remote town of King Salmon, Alaska, offering a truly authentic wilderness experience.
The Naknek River boasts prolific runs of all five species of salmon and is renowned as a trophy rainbow trout destination. With the fish comes an abundance of wildlife, making this one of Alaska’s premier locations for fishing, photography, and bear viewing.
Guests can enjoy world-class guided fishing, brown bear and wildlife viewing, backcountry side-by-side adventures, scenic flights, hiking, kayaking, beachcombing, and excursions to Aniakchak National Monument, Becharof National Refuge, and Katmai National Park.
At Fat Bear Lodge, we combine luxury and adventure to create unforgettable journeys into Alaska’s wild beauty. Every individual trip is tailored to your interests, blending comfort, exploration, and sustainability.
